With this project I wanted to explore color theory and how color messes with people’s emotions.
Blue is usually associated with sadness, red with fury and yellow with excitement. For this I wanted to pair the calm clouds with a loud and bold yellow. The dreary rain is associated with red, and the happy, fully of life flowers are associated with blue. Not only did I want to create contrast with the colors, I also wanted to create contrast with the moods displayed on both sides. On the left side it is pretty calm and tranquil. On the right everything is much louder and faster paced.
The last color is the only one that is different. People typically associate white with purity culture, therefore, decided to couple white with people under the sheets.
